Charles Searle ~ Silloth, Cumbria. Recently appointed to the board. After coming to the county to complete a three year PhD thesis, he has stayed for the next thirty. He has worked mainly in the voluntary sector, for housing associations, a family centre and the Workers Educational Association. Currently, he leads the county’s Adult Education Service. A frequent Higham course goer, he aims to help the college with its fundraising and ensuring its sustainability. |
